Colin McKay, DPM

Colin McKay believes in the value of treating the whole patient. He is here to serve and heal others with empathy and he chose podiatry to help accomplish that. He is grateful to be part of TCCH in Tri-Cities, because it is an organization where they treat the entire patient as a team, no matter the background of the patient. He is passionate about treating the under-served and is fluent in Spanish.

He grew up in Arizona, got an accounting degree at BYU Idaho, but decided to go after his passion of medicine and went to medical school in California at Western University of Health Sciences. He was blessed to do my residency at Ochsner Medical center in New Orleans where he received advanced foot and ankle surgical training.  He specializes in a comprehensive range of foot treatments and reconstructive surgeries.  From hammertoes to ankle pain, foot surgeries, heel pain, ankle instability, stress injuries, fracture management, flatfoot reconstruction, ligament repair, neuropathy, nerve entrapment,  arthritis, genetic deformities, tendinitis, foot injuries, sports medicine, ankle impingement, bunions, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot treatments, calluses, ulcers, and limb salvage.

He and his wife are excited to call Tri-Cities their home to be closer to family in Washington. In his spare time he enjoys beekeeping, biking, raising chickens, gardening, chess and playing bagpipes. Colin loves to learn and keep up with the latest in podiatry.

Dr. McKay treated my Plantar Fasciitis and really listened to my symptoms and needs. He also looked over my son’s walk and gate as he has low muscle tone and I had ongoing concerns. He was thorough and I could tell he really cared and knew what he was talking about. I’m recommending him to everyone.

I saw Dr. McKay for a foot issue that appeared suddenly and was very painful. He was very courteous and polite, and took me seriously which is really important. I ended up deciding to go a surgical route to resolve the issue and 2 months post op I have no complaints, thank you Dr. McKay!!
