No Surprises Act
Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) will not deny services based on a patient’s inability to pay, even if that means reducing or waiving costs, if applicable. Contact us at 509-547-2204 or our Billing Department at (509) 543-1966 to learn about resources available to you.
If you would like to receive a Good Faith Estimate customized to you, please contact the our Billing Department at (509) 543-1966.
A Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs. Estimates may be limited to common services and a range of prices associated with those services. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. While caring for you, our providers may recommend additional services that are not listed in the Good Faith Estimate. Your actual charges may vary from an estimate. An estimate is not an insurance pre-authorization or a guarantee of insurance coverage. An estimate is not a contract and does not require you to get services from TCCH.
If the actual charges are more than $400.00 above the Good Faith Estimate, you can initiate a provider-patient dispute resolution process. You can learn how to start this process by calling our Billing Department at (509) 543-1966. You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Starting a dispute resolution process will not impact the quality of health services you receive at TCCH.
