TCCH Celebrates National Health Center Week

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers sponsors National Health Center Week. This week is spent celebrating the work that our health center does along with the 1,400 other Community Health Centers. This is an opportunity for us to highlight the dedication and commitment to our mission of providing the highest quality health care to every person, every time. TCCH wants to thank our staff, board members and all of our other supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to our patients!

Day 1

In recognition of Health Care for those Experiencing Homelessness Day, Tri-Cities Community Health kicked off NHCW by donating First Aid Kits and Cinch sacks to the local Union Gospel Mission and Safe Habor’s “My friends place”.

Day 2

In recognition of Agricultural Worker Health Day, Tri-Cities Community Health donated 500+ Heat protection gear to First Fruits Farms.

Day 3

In recognition of Patient Appreciation Day, the Tri-Cities Community Health executive team was present at each lobby this morning distributing small tokens of appreciation to our patients!

Day 4

In recognition of Stakeholder Appreciation Day, Tri-Cities Community Health invited MCOs and board members to our backpack stuffing event this morning. Together we prepared for our Annual Back to School Health Fair packing 2,500 backpacks with school supplies! Followed by an appreciation lunch thanking them for their continuous support over the years!

Day 5

In recognition of Health Center Staff Appreciation Day, Tri-Cities Community Health treated its staff with T-shirts and free lunches.
