Archana Chivukula, MD, CAQSM Family Medicine, Sports Medicine

Dr. Archana Chivukula is a board-certified Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician. She has completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine from the University of Texas following her residency in Family Medicine at Central Baptist Health in Alabama. Dr. Chivukula brings over ten years of clinical experience across the United States, India, and Africa. She is now accepting new patients and specializes in the management of the following conditions namely:

• Osteoarthritis, overuse injuries, back pain, trigger points, tendinopathy, trigger finger, and joint pains
• Acute musculoskeletal injuries including fracture management, sprains, strains, concussions, and falls
• Chronic illnesses like Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Asthma, Congestive Heart Disease, Thyroid disorders
• Pediatric and Adult Annual Wellness Visits
• Exercise prescriptions for heart disease, COPD, pregnancy, and asthma
• Pre-participation physicals, exercise-induced asthma, sickle cell trait/disease
• Counsel return to play decisions post-injury for athletes and weekend warriors
