Elizabeth (Liz) Vossenkemper, CPNP

Liz was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. She feels blessed that she is now able to call Tri-Cities home. Her professional nursing experience includes the neonatal intensive care unit, the pediatric intensive care unit, cardiology; school based nursing and primary pediatric care. Her most recent contributions to her community include developing and running a small autism clinic within her primary care practice, serving on multiple quality improvement projects, including being one of six clinicians in the US to be awarded the Robert Wood Johnson Safety Net Value Champion Fellowship. As a fellow, Liz is engaging providers in reducing overuse in health care.

She loves connecting with patients and their families and collaborating with them to ensure an adequate plan of care is established at every visit. She fell in love with pediatrics because helping families raise healthy, productive children has always been a deep passion of hers. She believes that everyone should have access to high quality health care and is committed to that cause. She believes fully in the mission that TCCH serves.

Liz is an advocate for excellent pediatric care across all service lines that come into contact with children. She has an immense amount of dedication to TCCH and her patients. She has the drive and desire to play an active role in the health journey of the children in her community and welcomes the challenges that her particular patient population faces.

In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and their chocolate lab. They enjoy traveling, hiking/backpacking, and skiing. She also enjoys exercise, reading and connecting with close friends over a good meal.
